How
does each service differs?
-
Business
ADSL (Dynamic IP)
issues a random IP address which may change with each login
session. Thus, it is more suited for fast Internet access,
downloading and uploading of large files, etc.
-
DSL
(ADSL/SDSL) Access Service
allows you to connect your hosts (such as servers or PCs,)
in your Local Area Network (LAN) to the Internet at
broadband speed. The connection to the Internet is always
available on
activation. With the assignment of LAN IP addresses, it is
suitable for hosting non-mission critical services such as FTP
(File Transfer Protocol) server, or even Web server. In
addition, Domain Name hosting is also available with this
service.
-
eLite (Sym) Access leverages on shared fibre access
via GPON technology, offering you higher bandwidth than DSL
access. Same class of service of DSL access.
-
Ethernet
Access
via Ethernetlink Service is a less expensive service with a
lower SLG (Business), leveraging on MPLS network for
aggregation. It is suitable for day-to-day general Internet
usage.
-
MetroEthernet
Access
is a more expensive and higher grade of service offering. It
offers a better SLG (Premium) and suitable for hosting mission
critical applications that require more stringent Internet
performance. It is directly connected to Internet network.
